Family Words in French Part 1 (basic French vocabulary from Learn French With Alexa)

say the words for the members of the

let's have a look at some of the words
that relates to your family I'm going to
start by the most important one it is
called la Mamo
la Mamo now that's quite easy Mamo is
mummy
if you wanted to say my mummy you would
say ma ma ma ma Mamo and remember there
is an N at the end of Mamo you do not
pronounce it you could say mother as
well so in this case you would say la
mer la Mer oh ma Mara have a look

papa or should I say loo papa
the daddy okay and if you wanted to say
my daddy
it would not be mad because Baba is a
masculine word so it would be mom papa
mom papa okay now you could say move
bear as in my father bear my father okay
now the son Lou fish now have a look at
the spelling of this word fil s fish
okay and we don't say fearless okay we
don't pronounce the L in effect so you
would talk about mumfie's my son Monfils
okay as for daughter it is the same as
for girl so we would say ma fille i
double-l e ma fille okay mafia okay oh
la fille okay the daughter or the girl
and by the way this does not mean boy a
kid means son okay gassim means boy okay
you could say je ah gasps um I have one

as well I have a daughter okay now look
favor is the brother Lu favor the
brother so if you talked about my
brother you would say mum fire again
because brother flare is a masculine
noun mum fair okay

it's a feminine world so if you wanted
to say my wife you would say ma fan ma

so you would talk about Maddie okay have

not mean man okay though thumb means
woman and wife Mary does not mean man
Mary means husband only okay and man is
